Our services

I am a Peruvian therapist that grew up in the city of Cudahy so I am grateful to be in position where I can provide services to my Spanish speaking community. I received my education from UCLA and USC and my work is rooted in mental health, personal growth, radical self-care and self- esteem. I advocate, motivate and educate on innovative healing to achieve a wholesome life.

Over the last 12 years I've had the privilege of holding multiple roles within the therapy world. I was at schools, foster care, adoptions, military bases, hospitals, non-profits, private practices, community clinics, family resource centers, inpatient, outpatient programs and even the substance abuse world. This allowed me to work with folks from all walks of life. I tailor treatment to each individual and offer a safe environment where I listen without judging you, motivate and engage you. I bring years of experience, good energy, and unique interventions with a charismatic personality.

My name is Leila Aguirre and I am an Associate Clinical Social Worker.  I am dedicated to creating a safe and understanding environment for individuals who have felt and still feel the inability to identify one.  My approach to therapy is a mixture of education, experience both professional and personal, collaboration, and lots of self-love and inner child work.  I strive to make collaborative and safe environments while utilizing various interventions, techniques, and authentic, positive energy while you work through behaviors, patterns and trauma. I view my role as a therapist to be your biggest advocate and encourage you throughout your healing journey.

I have a Bachelors and Masters in Social Work both from Azusa Pacific University with a clinical emphasis. My name is Kianté McKinley, I am an Associate Clinician Social Worker. As a Black Queer Male who breaks all social norms, I couldn’t find many safe spaces to heal, be myself, and be vulnerable… so I created one! I received my education from Azusa Pacific University and The University of Michigan-Ann Arbor. I consider myself an active therapist, combining experience, education, creativity, and a sense of humor with a down-to-earth, realistic approach to therapy.

My role as a therapist is to provide a safe and nurturing therapeutic environment for clients to work through a wide range of problems. I work with clients as a partner and assist them in developing more useful ways of thinking and behaving. I am a trauma-informed therapist and assist with getting back in touch with the needs of the mind and body. I believe we all have inherited strength and power that we sometimes cannot see for ourselves. My hope is that with time and the power of human connection, we are able to learn more about ourselves and love ourselves wholeheartedly.

Hello & Annyeonghaseyo! My name is Ju Hea Park and I am an Associate Clinical Social Worker providing services in English and Korean. My role as a therapist is to help my clients discover and claim internal power, and to take ownership of life without the hindrance of emotional wounds from the past. As an Asian immigrant who struggled with identity insecurities and adjustment stress, I am passionate about helping clients overcome personal barriers and explore immigrants’ bicultural/multicultural identities. I take an integrative approach to therapy incorporating interventions from CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy), Person-Centered Therapy, and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy. As a believer, pastor’s kid, and an alumnus from a Christian university, I can also integrate faith and spirituality to support clients’ growth and overall wellbeing per clients’ request.

During my first year out of college, I received an award from Los Angeles County’s Department of Mental Health (LAC DMH) as a qualified bilingual-bicultural candidate to provide mental health services for unserved and underserved communities. I have worked with secondary school students in school settings, individuals with substance use disorders and co-occurring disorders, family members with caregiver stress, and adults experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, mood regulation problems, and interpersonal problems.
